There is no first class top puppy only a best out of a litter which can easily be worse compared to other good combinations. So 2500 euro, prices should go up ! are you a breeder ? For shows were outcome of results are already known, what about your first class 2500 euro puppy now. Basically I agree with you, but nobody is forcing us to buy a puppy at that price and those of the kennel ....

I think there are still breeders who have a very high quality dogs (I think primarily on health and character) and for much less money!

It is true that these dogs are forever second, third, or no credit at big competitions (not from reputable) kennel, but they are healthy and hit the decoy and what is most important ....

IDC is not the only show on Earth...and there is a working dimension of the dog, which proves its real value in terms of mind and anatomy.

On the contrary! The prices of pups should go even higher! 2500eur per top puppy. Having top show/sports dog with the results demands serious investment. At least 10k eur. Others can by lesser quality for as little as 200, 300 or 500 eur. Actually, there are many more pups for 3 figure price than the ones of 1000eur . Anyway, the initial investment in a dog is incomparable to the latter ones. You should know better than that.

The prices of dobermann pups should go down also, they cost too much. There are too many health problems, the Dobermann club and judges are corrupt and too many breeders make too many litters because it is big buisness. The dobermann puppy is not worth 1500 Euro at all.

Well, at least someone will show guts here. Most of them owners and breeders are actually hiding the results in order to justify their "great breeding program". Take that Vivian iz Zoosfery for example, also from Maxim. As the bad hips and of course lack of ZTP were not enough, now they mated her to that bunny Athos, which is actually hilarious. Nice female and all, but not capable to pass breeding test, and I am not talking about HD C only, so what's the point of breeding her? Just because she looks nice and has titles? C'mon!!!

Silly. It's a public secret that Maxim has between C and D hips and this will continue to show through his progeny. Combine this with meek character (ZTP at second attempt and in his own yard ad dusk) and you get the picture. And it's rather grey!

Yes it is unfortunate. Most dogs train with their local GSA. The Dobermann community here is very small. There was an attempt to set up an working club, not sure what obstacles it met that prevented it from going ahead.

The judges are not vets, I did not say they were.
Perhaps this is coming out wrong due to the translation.
Poor judges are the root cause of most of the problems. Judges receiving calls from Hans telling them who to put up for the win.
Judges with show programs prior to the show and often in the show ring. Judges judging their own breeding and giving the dogs the win.
Judges driving to the show with their girlfriends and giving them the win. If you see no problem in this then you are part of the problem.

You have not been around enough to fully understand the problems.
DV/IDC is controlled by one person that is corrupt and has been
corrupt for very long time. He removes good people because he can not compete with their talent and knowledge about the Dobermann breed. Vogel and Kollenberg are only two. Both respected world wide
and far better judges of the Dobermann. Hans felt his position was in jeopardy so he moved them out. The same as any African leader would. The information that has come out on Dobermann Insider has
been talked about for years. The Dobermann breed is in serious trouble. The health problems are not a natural progression of the breed. It was caused by poor breeding and greed. Unqualified judges
doing favors for friends. Silly Americans thinking if we bring a German judge over we will have more credibility. Serbia and South Africa completely out of control. My advice is find another breed,
The Dobermanns are killing each other, if your think it is bad now just wait for next year and the next.

I am in the U.S and I ask why are these people still in charge or even in their positions? Cannot they be voted out or whatever the method is? I have long wondered and even asked on here why they repeatedly have the same judges at every major show. Are the shows required to have them as judges? If, not why do people hire them? The way I see it and from what I have read, they no longer bring creditability to any show they judge, so what is the point of hiring them unless one has to have a show.

Your "constructive proposition" is not too bright, because people paid for their dog's presentations to be here so that would be non-authorized alternation, providing grave diggers to bash the already passed dogs around in order to give them selves larger significance than it really is.

It is horrible when people talk about COD all the time, just to play smart and educated where in reality they are not.

is it possible to mark the males at the male presentation section who are already dead ? or is it maybe possible to put them somehow in another list, something like "in memoriam" ? it is really annoying when you look for a stud in the list and you find out that many of them are dead...
