Ohh Ariatur Hermonie wonderful home she went to!You show proudly her picture on your homepage. She had dogs in her basement standing in their feces,starwing to death.She got animal prohibition.She had to give up her Kennel name and everything.Did not take out the pedigrees and give them to the puppy buyers. The Environmental Office,went there and when THEY went inside the house it was awful to see what they saw. The woman from the kennel went missing "hid" her self i STHLM. Ther the police office found one of her dogs wandering around by her self in STHLM. Bojana de Galius. People is calls lots to day and asks about her she smugglers dogs and sells them whitout papers and swindle money from innocent people.So worst kennel/Breeder on your homepage dont throw stones in glass house.

Does no-one care where they sell their dogs go to?

Since the UK laws have been relaxed we see import after import coming in usually from Eastern Europe. The buyers usually want a flashy cropped and docked dog (that's fine), but most of them have never even had a Dobermann before, and just want a flashy status symbol. When they realise they can't cope with it, they try to sell it - usually for more than they bought it for.

I have now helped a third person in ONE WEEK, re-home their unwanted dog - but 'oh he has a great pedigree', he must be worth a lot! If you are reading this, and sold a dog to the UK, do you know one of them weighs 20kilos aged 2 years, and has been kept in the outside garage because the wife won't let him near the children? The dog is going insane, the man can't walk him - but he still wants money! Maybe it is the dog you sold? Do you ever check. Do you care?

These buyers do not show, they do not work, they buy over the internet - (if they can't even be bothered to come and meet you, how do you know who they are?).

Then there are the dealers in cropped and docked dogs. They don't give a shit where the dogs go and if you are selling to these dealers, neither do you care. Any decent breeder would have contacts to ask friends in the UK/anywhere, to check the buyers out.

Do you realise how cheap and rubbish it makes your kennel name look when these dogs end up in rescue or used by the puppy farmers?
This evening a friend sent me a mail to say.... "A girl from Hereford who nobody has ever heard about, has an imported Dobe male she is pushing at stud by none other than XXXX XX XXX XXX." This girl writes 'He is cropped&docked - cheap now but more expensive once he gets going'!!!

Hereford is near Wales which is notorious puppy farming country (excepting the top quality breeders who live there). This dog will then end up being used by the puppy farmers who breed their bitches at 1 year old (no health checks) and keep them and the puppies in bare, concrete sheds. Why would you want to ruin your reputation and hard work breeding quality dogs, to have them used by puppy farmers, as no quality breeder wants to be associated with stud dogs used by puppy farmers.

There are good people who import - and this is not aimed at them or their breeders, but if you can't be bothered to even check out the buyer, don't be upset when your name becomes associated with the dog who is now on his 7th home - he is ONE YEAR OLD. Shame on you.

I'm writing to you personally as the owner of Uran di Altobello to inform you that my dog Uran , by winning title CAC on International Dog Show CACIB Bogatić
which was held 30.03.2012, meet all requirements for title Champion of Serbia.
I'm applying my own dogs for shows and that is nothing to do with Altobello Kennel.
Please do not use this forum for trashing good dogs and breeders, be more constructive when it comes to the breed.

USA I was under the impression that if you entered your dog in Ch class you had to send proof of title as you entered the dog in a show!!!!!

So, in Serbia is possible to enter the dog to the CH Class even though that specific dog actually HAS NOT CH Certificate? Or, is it just a privilege of Altobello breeder? Do show organizers in Serbia take the word only? Is no certificate required for both Work and Champion class? The most recent case is that of Uran di Altobello on recent special show. Ok the dog is Youth World Winner but what about his adult dog credentials, such as Champion of anything? As far as I know being Youth CH at anything does not mean the dog can enter Champion Class by default. Can Altobello breeder do anything and without having to answer to anyone?

I think, here are many people earning their money by honest work and not by only breeding. People, who want to buy a health dobermann in 10 years once more.
If we don't change things, it will be the end of breed - and the end of income from breeding.
