"We can find many top Siegers in the pedigree of Eick von der Rappenau (1987, Hertog Alpha v. Le Dobry x Anuschka v. Haberhof). In 1990 he joined them by winning the Bundessieger title. Although he has sired some excellent progeny he did not influence the breed as strongly as some of the important stud dogs we find in his pedigree such as Don Dayan v. Franckenhorst, Hertog Alpha v. Le Dobry, Guy's Hilo v. Norden Stamm, Bj?rn v. Stokebrand."
