The first litter from Karmel with Hargos was of an excellent
quality; It gave the breed dobermanns like Erlando, Eady
and Esmir Royal Bell and when the combination was
repeated they produced the famous "H" litter which
included dogs like Hilo, Hector, Hesta and
Hilda Royal Bell. Esmir was an outstanding puppy in the
litter, very strong and robust, fortunately she developed in
the right way. I saw her for the first time in Schoningen Schweinfurt
at the DV Sieger show in 1989 and she immediately impressed
me with her strong and powerful body. Maybe her head was too
masculine but she had excellent parallels and a beautiful expression.
She possessed strong bones and a perfect shoulder and upper
arm assembly which gave a naturally smooth elegant neck, flowing
into the topline. She had enormous chest volume, broad loins,
wide thighs and heavy muscling. It was understandable that she
had a wide circle of admirers that day! I also remember that
after the DV sieger show she immediately went off to Denmark
for the World Sieger Show at Copenhagen where she also became
the Youth World Champion of 1989. She proved her good temperament
by passing her ZTP with Excellent l-A and her Schutzhund I Test.
In the show ring she did well and won many titles and was always
in the finals at the big shows. It is a pity that she never
won an important title. She gained the Yugoslavian and the International
Champion title. She and her brothers stood at the head of a
long row of excellent Champions out of the Royal Bell. kennel.
