Quinn’s sire, Runo
dei Nobili Nati, whelped in 1982 (Elisir di Campovalano
x Daniella NF), was a fairly neglected kennel dog. He was
a strong boned, good bodied dog with a long,lovely croup
to recommend him. Although his confined lifestyle had made
him neurotic and ill-used in appearance, he projected a
substantial and masculine figure, with the typically beautiful
head and expression of his family

Runo
could be faulted for a bit soft topline, but Quinn’s mother,
Tairy di Campovalano, whelped in 1981(Elisir di Campovalano
x Bageera), suited him very well there. Tairy in turn, lacked
Runo’s excellent front and rear angulation, but she was
a feminine, firm, stylish bitch that well suited Runo robust
features. A minor distracting fault was her light eyes, also
a re-occuring feature in many descendants.
