I would like to know the height, weight, and age of your male dobermanns. I have a 7 month old. He is 26 inches at the shoulder and 70 pounds. Trying to get a comparison for his normal growth and estimate his end size.
I laugh because I read an American doberman website and it said males taller than 27 1/2 inches lose their manuverability and ability to be flexible. I think my boy will be bigger than that.
thanks for the reassurance, but that did not answer my question. I can't believe this post has had 22 views and not one answer to my question. 22 people looked that do not own a male dobermann for which they can provide height and weight information?
My dog male is 71,5 cm and 43 kg. He is not skinny, looks perfect . 7 years old. Excellent show result and very good working dog.
My best working dog male was 69 cm ,38 kg he lived to he was nearly 15 years.

You need to get your cm & kg breakdowns out this is a Euro home based site but theres alot of world wide owners here too. My male is intact and at 28" to the withers and 84lbs. He looks very balanced and at 3yrs 7months I hope he won't exceed 85lbs at full maturity. The dogs in this breed that are 29" and 110lbs are not in line with the Standard and the Standard is our blue print for the breed with its physical attributes and its mental abilities. The Standard in Europe is very simular to the akc Standard adapted many years ago.
Teeth, & Front Shoulder are the main differences!!!
The akc allows 3 missing teeth (I think) and the Euro shoulder warrents 50degrees where the akc is at 45degrees.
Shame on allowing missing teeth and a 45degree angle at the shoulder gives more strength within the structure, my 2 cents hahahaha!!! Von
I have 4 males. 2 are father & son both are 71cms the father is almost 10 years & now weighs 47 kg ( i slimmed him down because of his age his showing weight was around 49kgs) his son is 48kg my other males 1 is 70 cms weighs 45kg the other 69cm and weighs 46kg. Both my 71cm males are strong males with lots of bone, i think people tend to exagerate on there dogs weight & height, a 55-60kg Dobe is a monster its not correct!! all my dogs have excellent movement & they are all multi titled and they can work.
