Home made food

Unread postby A.M » Tue Aug 03, 2004 10:13 am

Home made food is the best and most healthy:

Meat, cow stomac, oil......with cooked carrots, rice/potatoes + big row cow-bones few times in the week :)

I was at a schutzhund club a while back and asked everyone who was sitting there what they feed their dogs. About 25% used their own mix. The rest all had completely different answers. I don't have the time to use raw food myself. I have been using Solid Gold Wolf King with pretty good results for the past 2 months.

Solid gold is very expensive food. Does anybody know what 15 kg food cost from this trade mark?

:D Hi there...

Solid Gold is a very good food with 50% meat, many other good things and no conserv...
I feed all my dogs with this food.

The price is 47 - 51 Euros !!!

Best Breed from the US is one of the finest "premium" dog foods I have ever used and I have now used it about 5 years. I personally use the Best Breed "working dog diet" as it maintains the optimum weight on my very active guy.

Don't know what the cost factor would be in other parts of the world but it is shipped in "vaccum-packed" bags and they use only "natural" preservatives.
