DCM in Dobermann

DCM in Dobermann

Unread postby Stormurinn » Fri Feb 25, 2011 3:05 am

Hello. I'm looking to buy a Dobermann, I thought I had found my dream kennel but now I'm looking at the pedigree of the female that is pregnant with my hope to be pup.

I'm not very knowledgeable on the Doberman.

The female in question is 8 turning 9 at the end of this year and she has had successful litters.

Her father : 1998 -2002 (Death cause: DCM)

Her grandfather (on the father's side) 1994 - 2000 (Death cause: DCM)

His mother:1991- 1996 (Death cause: DCM)

What do you think? This seems to be only on the father's side....

I've been researching the disease and talking to vets about it. They say it's in the genes..

Why you choice that if you know that is risky ?
I think the buyers are very guilty by this situation when they did the game of Big Breeders.

Then... Nice russian roulette and to you!

Valencia, again I do not understand your grammar.

Google translate is not always your friend.

I'm not taking my chances on this breeding.
