Cropping and docking regulations by country

This is current state of regulations concerning cropping of ears and docking of tail. There could be exceptions from these rules regarding showing of cropped/docked dogs on a per show basis. Please help by posting in the coments any info related to this.

i get for 3 weeks fax from www.oekv.at that you can not show cropping and docking dogs in austria after 01.01.2009. there are only exept shows where you can show the dog who born later. so you must read very exactly the regulation of every show

You are allowed to dock the tails in France & you are allowed to show cropped dogs born before Aug.2008

Las autoridades deberian permitir corte de colas y orejas si lo hace un veterinario y que expida un certificado, aqui en Mallorca no tenemos problemas

In Slovenia it is disallowed to crop the ears and allowed to dock the tails.

Dockin and cropping is banned in Iceland. You can show d/c dogs if they are born in country that allows d/c

Cropped and docked dogs are allowed to be shown in Sweden, if they are from country where it were legal to crop/dock AND are born before 1. Jan 2008.

I love that you can't crop ears or doc tails but you can castrate the dog and have the bitch spayed.. makes sense???

Iceland has ban on docking and cropping unless you have vet certified reason, you can show docked and cropped if they are born in a country that allows it.

In Estonia - after 01.01.2012 born cropped dogs are allowed to be shown if they are from country where it is legal to crop

Here in the Philippines, cropping, docking and showing is allowed for dobes.

All cropped dogs born after 30 June 2009 cannot be shown regardless
of the dog's country of birth. Cropped dogs born before 1 July 2009
can only be shown if the dog has been born in a country where ear
cropping is permitted. (Danish bred ear cropped dogs born after
1 January 1985 cannot be shown).

Tail docked dogs born after 1 June 1996 cannot be shown, regardless
of the dog’s country of birth. The prohibition also includes dogs that
have been docked for veterinary reasons, irrespective of whether
a veterinary certificate is presented.
