Hello everybody.

I'm looking to buy my first Dobermann and I've been looking around the web for interesting breeders.

I'm very selective and I've had trouble finding a breeder that I like and looked trusthworthy.

I came across this breeder z Padoku and I'm very impressed.

I've googled and see no evil sayings about them.

I live on an island that requires quarintine so I'd have to ship my possible puppy to Denmark before he could reach me at the age of 7 months.

Do you have any negative or positive info on this breeder?

I understand if people do not wish to share their negative experience on an open web so you can send me an email or message here.

stormadis@visir.is

With best regards

Iris

This is your criterium ? Great !
If you googled my name (especial in my country), I am the Devil of dobermann breed.Even my bloodline nobody kill.

Maybe you help this S litter genetic analyse.
More that is your choice.

Thank you for your reply.

Well Google is my friend and I have no intetion of googling you.

I don't know what else to do but look for information here as I do not know any breeders or Doberman owners.
I hope to get into contact with breeders and Doberman lovers via this website.

Do you know of any other ways of getting information than google and contacting a respected forum for information?
Smile

Googled ! Googled !

But no sense to Googled too much. You can close your eyes and choice , the genetic ascendance will be almost the same .
Only few rare bloodlines make the differenace. There is the secret Wink

The Googling can be utile, if you know to read . And especial to read back in pedigrees.
Good Googling to you !

P.S. Maybe that will help - search by name

Valencia, can you tell us novices what you are going on about, as to put a chart with all dogs names and figures means absolutely nothing to me, and I'm sure it applies to other readers as well. I too am interested in a bitch puppy from this kennel, however there seems to be a lack of information as to the credibility of them, and having read so many horror stories about dodgy breeders it makes me approach any purchase with some degree of caution, that is why information is requested, and in a format that is understandable.

To me it seems as though Valencia always make a fool out of people who have a different opinion than him. Sad

So never expect a usefull answer from this person, if you are interested in or the owner of other bloodlines than his dogs Evil or Very Mad

I think you may have a valid point there, however returning to the original theme of the post, after several e-mails to a "representative" of the breeder, I have decide not to proceed any further, possibly due to a misinterpretation of English, and if they are able to read this I suggest they make some modifications to their "sales technique"??

I agree with Mike.
Also got spooked with the high rate of DCM in the lines.

So good looking dog, but my money will go alswhere.

Doesn't change the fact that.....

Matador V. Rauberhohle 1998-2002 (Death cause: DCM)

Alfa Adelante Del Citone 1994 - 2000 (Death cause: DCM)

Tequila Mali Del Citone 1991 - 1996 (Death cause: DCM)

Love your lines Wanda, but these results spooked me off.

Nice to see that you have done your homework Stormurinn, for my part I saw the two litter sisters on the for sale section, and was immediately impressed with Sherry. The problem for me was the fact that the contact details are different for each dog, as is also the location and the handler. When I questioned this I was told that the breeder speaks no English and the person I was contacting acted as her interpreter. But there is nothing on the contact details to suggest that this is the reason, ie., if you speak english contact A, if you speak Polish contact B. The next problem was that having requested further photos of the dog I was interested in, I was sent two of "her" in the snow which were hardly discernible as a dog let alone the one I had seen on the for sale section, thereby making it impossible to ascertain the conformation of the animal. After replying to this with a comment that it looked like a different dog, it started going downhill so I stopped there and then. I don't wish any malice to this kennel, I don't know them, and they may have the best dogs in Europe, but as I said in my previous post, the sales technique leaves a lot to be desired, most of my enquiries were answered very curtly with one short sentence, and as already mentioned images received were very poor, and were inadequate to make a judgement to purchase.
