Should they be cooked ? Or just raw ?

I use raw, there is a good recipe under the topice of longevity and feeding. You can vary it according to your dogs liking but I have been using it for some months and I am gettting very good results.

Yeah...how's that going Bryant? What is your opinion of any changes you have seen. Given that I am sure you have kept the dogs in good shape before, improvements/changes can more strongly be linked to the dietary change. Any personality changes?? How much time is consumed [sorry about the pun] in comparision with your previous routine? Cost comparision?

Also, off subject, are you working with a club over there? What is your protection/Schutz training capibility? That is got access to decent decoys? I ask from the standpoint of being thru Columbus occassionally and when up at mom's I could bring a dog and come down and play.

Cool

We feed mostly raw. No special instructions. I started giving Fed as a pup dead baby chicks and rabbits under a pound. The whole body. Bones are soft, he ate the whole thing. Now at 7 months old, he will eat a whole 8 pound rabbit or chicken. Hide, skull, guts, everything. I let him eat as much as he wants. He also has an insane love of fresh fruit, apples, pears and peaches especially. He helps himself from the trees.

I also feed whole chunks of beef and pork fat and meat scraps from the butcher. I also feed some dog food to make sure he gets enough. When he was really young, I had a hard time keeping weight on him. The dog food helped.
