I also know Tundra, (I had a passion for her father Oro del Cordie sometime, a good male). She is a good type, but we talk about great heads-just beautiful typical females are many. I can offer also 3-6 of my breeding with comparable quality, but they are not GREAT HEADS.
Samuna del Bosko di Gianno and Skila del Palatino had more complete heads than their Furstenfeld ancestors in my opinion, and they are historically important. Del Urbe dogs are also in the same category. I had never seen good pictures for them, so, I cannot tell if they were really great, or that they had some good elements only, like length of muzzle. Verena, the principal descedant of this line, for me, is a bad bitch morphologically. I think that her best characteristic was that she was completely submissive to the influence of Gammon. Her produce are Gammon dogs not "Furstenfelds". Also her produce from another stud are not like her.
About Ruthy, she is impressive as a whole animal, but the head falls to the mediocre - good category. Parallelism is problematic, lenghth looks short for the dog, Eyes are close together and round. I doupt that this one could win so much with the same head and less chest and presentation.Tahi reme produced better in the past. She is a "body" dog.

sometimes it was also Fionda Dell Urbe who influenced who is abit different as
they used the beautiful french male Luther Jean from the old famous french kennel D'Estelle de la Mar from the mating of earl v forrell v plana
v furstenfeld ...i prefer not to say furstenfelds unless directly from his kennel ,.,i much prefer to say forrell or furstenfeld x forrell ...of course there is other influences such as the structually powerful hagenstern dogs from bonni x dona mating ..of course with different combinations and depending on the click and how much the % of the distant inbred ancestor matter
thanks

One of the females nowdays which head I like much is Tahi Reme Giniti (she would probably be in my top 5 today).
I believe some of you find it's too masculine, right? Razz

No, she is very good. The expression is keen and feminine enough.Very nice. She is much better than Ruthy. Her eyes are a little round .
The foto of "Kastra" was sometimes publiced as her daughter "Pia". Who knows what is the truth? She is classic, but not Kalina.

just a little masculine! Very Happy But very beautiful!Anyway the characteristics of sex are very importand and a female head must be first of all feminine. Some people missunderstand the meaning of strength even when they "judge" a female head.
