| Are there any health-related age limitations to train a dog with a bicycle? The puppy is approximately 8 months old. Is it too early to start bicycle training? |

I think that your pup may start training how to behave when running besides a bike but I personally would keep the distance very short (1 km or so) and tempo medium until a year old. This way the dog can get accustomed to the concept of it but will not stress his growing joints. There are people that claim not to do it until 1,5-2 years and are those who are comfortable enough to run a puppy but when it comes to something as important as hips and elbows, I would take it a bit too slow than risk the dog becoming lame for the rest of his life. _________________ If you feel dog tired at night, maybe it is because you have growled all day long |
