| I've only had my pup about 2 weeks and when I first got him he would eat a scrambled egg. He wont touch them now. Anyway I am feeding him Royal Canine Baby Dog and he eats around 20oz a day. Hes about 12-13 weeks old. He was shipped from Serbia here and when I got him he appeared to be a little thin. How can I pack on some weight? A breeder here in the us suggested giving him a scrambled egg a day but he wont eat them. Any advice is appreciated. |

Ask the breeder which kind of food he is used to, may be he do not like Royal Canin. Try with a little bit of liver pate mixed in the dry food only just a little bit just to make it smell better. You can olso try with cooked chicken most dog likes that . My dog comes also from Serbia ,and she was used to Purina pro plan , spoon of yoghurt and 2 x week yellow from egg. She did not like Royal Canin and still she don`t .My male prefer Purina ,but he eat normally everything.
You could also ask the vet for a sirup which give more appetite . He is also stressed from the travelling, missing his siblings and then a new home all this might upset him so he do not feel well.
