|
|
| I love to look at the beautiful Dobermann's on this website and others. However, as I start to look now for a suitable stud dog for my bitch (who won't be bred for at least another year) it gets difficult to find what I am looking for: A very nice confirmation dog who can also work and BITE! I have been to enough working trials and clubs to know that the IPO/Sch title doesn't necessarily mean much. There are too many disreputable trials/judges out there who for the right price will give a title to a dog at "special" trials. I would sure like to start seeing some links in the description of the dogs being exhibited on websites, especially here, of actual scores at actual working trials, numbers of entries, who the judges were, etc. Hopefully more than one trial titling just to allow dogs to win Confirmation Seiger titles, but numerous trial scores, which might at least provide a somewhat objective perspective on the working ability of the dogs. Maybe it will become more commonplace to have links to video coverage of the dogs actually working and biting the helper. I think the improving of the breed depends on more accountability in the real working ability of the dogs. |

step 1. Look at www.dobermann.nl
step 2. click at any Dober head
step 3. move mouse to the left and choose "Dober-nieuws"
step 4. scroll down to the bullet "Pakwerkersexamen D.V.I.N. 2004
step 5. click at mentioned bullet
step 6. scroll down the page untill: Robert Storm - filmpje en Ronald vd Geest - filmpje
Now you can see movies of a superb showdog that has proven to be a excellent working dog too!!!
Both times the dog is Russkaja Mechta Andor Absolut at work during the yearly exam for the helpers (obliged in Holland!). So this time the dogs are not being judged but the helpers, that is why the helper will certainly not help the dog in any kind of way!!!
Also at this website the bullet "Lelybokaal 2004 D.V.I.N." you can see pictures of Russkaja Mechta Andor Absolut at another working competition!!
If people are interested in using RM Andor Absolut for a mating, they are always welcome at our dogclub (www.dobermann-kgzh.nl) to see RM Andor Absolut work in real life. Fabio, figurant of the kennel Nobili Nati has done this when they were in Holland for the mating with Andor X DemiMoore dei Nobili Nati. He worked as a figurant with Andor for himself and he was very impressed!!
Russkaja Mechta Andor Absolut as well beauty as beast!!! |

I would recommend to visit this page: http://www.dobermann.com
Check results of the Köruungs of the last years and major working trials. |

I heard that Gemini GH has great biting. My friend did some bitework with him and said he was awsome. _________________ dobermann lover |

Yes, Steve and Gemini passes it along. That is Spice's father. Also, he is here in the states now, I believe in Arizona, specifically for stud service.
I am sorry to hear that the event was so poorly attended. I know that a few of us from California did not go as our tracking conditons are so poor here in the summer that no one can practice. If the timing were different, I would have had 2 dogs ready and would love to be a part of this event. I attend every other ADA event, this one just doesn't work out with the time of year.
We are almost ready to start an ADA club here in California. We are in Santa Rosa if anyone is interested, we would love to have you. _________________ ~Lorna
